with/and series

The words “with and” are linguistic symbols I use to symbolize relating, connection. I’m thinking about the ideas of “I/Thou” (Martin Buber), “interbeing” (Thich Nhat Hanh), and “To Have or to Be?” (Erich Fromm), “the magical other” (Jung), separateness and togetherness. I’m also thinking about consuming and being consumed, intrinsic to being alive but also to reading and ingesting media. I consume words, ideas but they also change me, consume me. I digest them; they digest me. I make meaning of them as they make me.

“I write because I so deeply want to speak. Though writing only gives me the full measure of silence.” Lispector

“With word, you pull up the underworld… the word is the greatest and the smallest that man created.” Jung
